Josh Huff is from Carr Creek, Kentucky, located in Knott County, Kentucky.  Josh certainly comes from a musical family beginning during the Civil War times with the music passed down in his family from generation to generation.  Josh contributes his Dad, Tad Huff for his interest in music. He remembers being mesmerized by his father pickin' five string banjo and hearing band stories from his Dad and uncles. Tad Huff previously played bass, banjo and Dobro for Tommy Webb for four years. 

Josh began playing music around the age of 17 when he joined the band Marcus Williams and New Cut Grass, (which featured his Dad).  With the training the band provided to Josh, he was able to gain valuable band experience and learn how to play music. Josh has always been grateful for them giving him a chance and taking the time to teach him.  Since that time, Josh has been privileged to perform on stage with the likes of Vince Combs, and Dave Evans.

In 2011, Josh joined The Tommy Webb band and is very excited and humbled at this opportunity. He not only performs with the band, but also works another job while also attending college, so he definitely knows what hard work is all about!  Josh is very pleased to be able to start a new chapter in his musical career with The Tommy Webb Band.
